Shows some simple forum statistics at the bottom of your pages and links to a full summary display.

I am now separating some functionality from Mini Track into Mini Stats to reduce complexity and make features optional.

Automatically inserts into the footer, no template edits required unless you want custom placement. You can see the full display at your-forum-url.com/?mini-stats or click on the pie graph icon in the footer.

Example:

This plugin is my attempt to separate some of the functionality from Mini Track which is getting overly complicated and hard for me to maintain (and therefore less updated).

Mini Stats also borrows some of my functions from the statistics portion of My Views to consolidate it in one place.

This plugin is enhanced by bb-topic-views but it's not required.

Hmm, not sure what would cause that csseur3, but try 0.0.2 which should show here shortly. It also works via the admin menu now, Manage -> Mini Stats so see if it works that way if not the regular way?

Can you explain the error better? Is php saying bad encoding or you are saying it looks wrong visually?

0.0.3 now has CSV export ability and will create a .csv file from the date you start at to today's date.

also attempting to bug fix some of the date range quirks with empty or missing days

This is truly an excellent plugin. This sort of data is very difficult to display accurately, because of time zone issues. My servers are in one time zone (PST), my authors are in another (EST) and my data in stored in yet another (GMT). And yet, all the data displays beautifully. This is very hard to pull off, and really impressive.

What's interesting is that this page has become my goto page for how my boards are doing. For example, on Friday I had a record number of topics created (well, it was tied for second). I could tell that at a glance, because the #1-3 records are colored Red, Blue, and Green. If my boards are growing, all the colored records are on the right side of the page. If they're not growing, all the records are on the left side of the page.

Anyway, really neat stuff. Thanks for the great plugin!

My "oldest members" and "newest members" isn't showing up in the stats. Everything else shows and works. I'm using bbPress 0.9. I just upgraded to the 1.0 version of the plug-in hoping that would fix the problem, but it doesn't.

    any ideas?

wilcosky are you integrated with wordpress or no? how many members do you have?

Blogijuttu, I still need to fix a few areas of this plugin for proper i18n support, sorry.

  12. Are you aware that this plugin does not work properly in IE6? The stats don't display, which of course is a CSS issue. Personally, I would never use IE6 but that's what is on the machine at the office and I can not update it. :( Works nicely in FireFox and will test in IE7 later. So far, great plugin.

Thanks for reporting the IE6 issue. I often forget to test in IE6 and will try to fix it.
It does however work in IE7 but hopefully will be easy enough to fix for IE6

update: now fixed - it was just an extraneous float:left that had to be removed
I didn't bump the version number, just replace mini-stats.php

  14. Hi _ck_
The Mini Stats/Mini Track situation is still a little confusing for me.
I'm still running Mini Track (0.2.0) on my forum, the complete package. Basically I'm abandoning accurate stats (which are kind of borked in Mini Track) for extra features which Mini Stats still seems to lag (Users Online, Flags, Visited etc.).
I know that development on Mini Track is suspended.

However, the Showcase page appears to be running some "crossover" with all the features and correct stats from what is observable. Is this version available? Is it Mini Stats or Mini Track?

On my site I have them both running but I disabled the stats part in Mini-Track and let Mini-Stats handle the link at the bottom.

You can do it in mini-track's options, just disable automatic insertion in the footers.

The newest version of mini-track is not publicly available as I intend to re-write it a bit.

  16. Ah, thank you very much. I forgot about the possibility to deactive parts in both of them.
Looks much better now. I'll live with the wrong "Most at once" output until it's revisited.

  17. Looks like it gives some decent information :)

Seems to be working for me on a brand new install of the 1.0 stable that was available a couple of days ago. Here's what I have showing at the bottom of the forum page....

1 posts in 1 topics over 1 months by 1 of 1 members. Latest: TTMArnyVee

....and, the first "1" in the line is where I click to get to the graphs and stats. Is that the correct way that it should be showing?

Also, another newb question.... when you mention to add the code at the "top of the plugin" for the admin-only viewing capabilities, does that mean that we go to the top of the mini-stats.php file and add it to the very top of that file? Just want to make sure that is what you meant. :)

This plugin (like all of my others) is not supported on 1.0 until December.
There should be an icon before the 1 which you click to get the graphs, etc.

  19. I've never been able to get the graphs to show, ever. Is there something to fix this?
