I will not be doing further modification for 1.0 until the end of the year when it stabilizes.
Otherwise I will have to update many of my plugins each and every month.

Hi _ck_ is there a way to get this plugin working. It is very useful as visitors can determine their own password. I noticed also thats some users cant login given the emailed password.
I have bbpress 1.01 and when i fill a password it says its less then 6 characters when i fill out 8 charaters or more.

None of my plugins will be supported on 1.0 until December at the soonest.
If you need them to work now, use 0.9Posted: 2 years ago # -
works like magic on 1.0.1 along with the human test plugin. TY mucho!

I see this still hasn't been updated, as I had the same problem described by many. I've got a new install of bbpress which is integrated with a new install of wordpress.
As a temporary workaround, I've directed people to register via the WordPress site. They are then automatically registered on the bbpress site.
It works. It sucks, it's awkward, and I imagine it will annoy people, but it works.

Can you please help?
I first downloaded bbpress 1.0 and my emails were not working so I tried your plug-in. It kept saying my password was too short even when it was not. I then looked on this board and saw that you were only providing support for bbpress 0.9.
So I installed bbpress 0.9 on my site. I then installed your plugin. Same problem. Password too short even when it is 8 characters.
Any advice?
Thanks!

Works like a charm. Thank you!

For those getting "password is too short" even when it's over 6 characters, please let me know if it's via a javascript popup (alert) or just a plain error message on a regular page. If it's a popup, I also need to know what browser you were using.
