Very interesting and well done. Deletes never-used accounts.
I see it does a sort-of pseudo-cron hooking into bb_init.
You could even extend it to delete accounts that have only logged in say 1 time over six months/year/etc.
Did your forum have a problem with multiple registrations that were never used?
This reminds me that I've been meaning to write a plugin to limit the number of bad login attempts for any username.
Very useful plugin to prevent spam registrations - Yes CK, multiple registrations that were never used, using their profile page for a backlink.
Its makes no sense because there will never be a link to their profile page if they don't post anything. Really wonder why they take the effort to register in the first place!
Great plugin!
Funny: I put the plugin into /my-plugins/ folder but the Admin Plugins page does not even "sees" it.
Any clue, please?
Because you probably uploaded the whole enhanced-registration directory when you should have uploaded EnhancedRegistration only (found within the former).
Right danbbpress!
Thank you!
I'm confused. I have it set up correctly but it's not sending the email reports to me.
"A message that you sent contained no recipient addresses, and therefore no delivery could be attempted."
It's bouncing back to the webmail account of my domain.
The default email for the site is correct. I am using a forwarder for my site, but I dunno why that would affect anything since I can receive emails just fine there.
Can anyone shed some light? I tried to go to the website for the plugin itself, but I didn't see anything.
