Nightgunner5: I was running alpha5 and replaced it with v6 and the error appeared. Then I tried the dev version and got the same error.

Wow that looks confusing... thanks.

Still no idea how to fill thread_depth & pm_thread after initial install and import of the old private_messages System. =(

Hi NightGunner.
Smilies and Quicktags work fine with BBPM but only when you are writing a new PM. As soon as you go to reply to an existing PM both features do nothing. The smilies do nothing when clicked and the quicktags don't show up at all.
The kinks are slowly being ironed out though and it is on it's way to being the PM plugin that we were all waiting for!

citizenkeith: That query isn't made by any of the code in bbPM. Is there any more information given by the error message (like a line number)?
Tomcraft1980: Sorry, if it didn't already work, I don't think it will at this point.Posted: 2 years ago # -
Any idea why this would happen? Is there a snippet of code I need to cut and paste somewhere?

I get this when trying to create new pm when inbox is empty...
Warning: include() [function.include]: Filename cannot be empty in /home/harrismarine/harrismarine.co.nz/bbpress/bb-includes/functions.bb-template.php on line 45
Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/harrismarine/harrismarine.co.nz/bbpress/bb-includes/functions.bb-template.php on line 45

@Nightgunner5: But did the import allready work in general? Or is there a general problem with the import and I am not the only one having this problem?

@Nightgunner5: You seem to have a lot of people asking for your help here so I feel bad nagging at you bro but what do you think the chances are of this plugin becoming stable in the next few days?
I ask because if it is you are too busy or it is not a likely probability then I will have to let the owner of my forum know.
I hope you do find a way to fix it because it is a slick plugin, the threaded style is much better than the old PM plugin and it was a nightmare with the old plugin not being able to delete messages from your outbox.
Keep up the good work, we all appreciate it, big time.

brad_langdon: That would only happen if another plugin was incorrectly modifying the template name. What other plugins are you running?
Tomcraft1980: I don't really know. Unfortunately, the people it works for don't have any reason to post here.

Nightgunner5: The error is displayed at the top of the Admin page as soon as I activate the plugin:
bbPress database error: [Table 'db68418_boneyard.bb_bbpm' doesn't exist]
SELECT COUNT(*) FROMbb_bbpmWHEREpm_to=1 ANDdel_reciever=0 ANDpm_read=0It also displays this where the "Private Messages" link should appear at the top of the forum pages (using my custom theme as well as Kakumi):
bbPress database error: [Table 'mydatabase.bb_bbpm' doesn't exist]
SELECT COUNT(*) FROMbb_bbpmWHEREpm_to=1 ANDdel_reciever=0 ANDpm_read=0In the above example "mydatabase" is actual name of my database.
I tried deactivating all other plugins. I also tried dropping bbpm with phpMyAdmin and it still doesn't work.
I'm running 0.9.06.

Thanks for the update.
It's strange because I didn't used to get that error message then it just started popping up... I haven't touched anything obvious so I have no idea.
Here is a screenshot of all of my active plugins... http://www.harrismarine.co.nz/plugins.jpg

I just upgraded to the latest version. The PM system works okay, but when I go to read a thread, I get this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_user_nicename() in /home/.../my-plugins/bbpm/bbpm.php on line 913
Posted: 2 years ago # -
I should clarify. I get the error when I go to read a regular forum thread. Not when I try to read a PM thread.

Wow, the version of bbPM that was marked as stable was an older unstable version. I've fixed the repository now, so in about fifteen minutes, the download should be fixed. If you want it before then, download the development version. It's the same thing.

Any idea on my plugins NightGunner?

I figured it out... it is the bb Polls plugin that is affecting it. Any idea how to fix it as I don't want tot lose bbpolls?
Posted: 2 years ago # -
Thanks for the quick fix, Nightgunner. Works fine now.

brad_langdon: I looked at the source code for bbPress Polls, but there doesn't seem to be anything that could erase an include path... Try re-downloading the bbPress Polls plugin.
