After scanning the code, I found that the script does not automate the adding of tweets.

You, therefore, need to do the following:
Open profile.php in your theme directory (my-templates/<your-theme>/profile.php).
Now, find bb_profile_data(); and paste the following code below it:

'<?php bb_show_tweets(bb_get_current_user_info( 'id' )) ?>

Your script should now look like this:

<?php bb_profile_data(); ?>
<?php bb_show_tweets(bb_get_current_user_info( 'id' )) ?>

Hi... I liked this plugin, but there's something I don't like... it appears the twitter replies... and I think it shouldn't appear... there's some version that don't show it?

I bust a nut when someone cranks out some half assed plugin that doesn't work, RELEASES IT, and then disappears from the face of the earth.

I know I can't really talk until I've coded my own, but it's like going to a cake fair where people have come to taste cakes, and having them eat poopy cake. Then when they go to ask you to change the recipe, YOU'VE GONE!

It's not working for me either. I get the fields in my profile where i can enter my twitter info, but the tweets are not showing.

With Twitter being an important communication tool, it would be great for this to work. Does anyone have another option or some sort of alternative to displaying one's Tweets on their profile and posts?

I should also mention that it prompts for a username and password for protected updates.

I am also having the same problem as wilcosky on top of the password prompt.

I've decided to remove this plugin for now :(. I also realized if two or more people post with tweets, the plugin got confused and only showed one tweet and the tweet it showed didn't match the user.

Like everyone else is saying, the twitter feed doesn't show up on the profile page, but it will show up under the posts... Maybe there is a plugin we are all using that is conflicting.

Can you provide us with a few lines of code that we can just add to profile.php for now to show the tweet of that user. Actually, this would be a great feature. A few lines of code that we could insert anywhere on our forum and the user that is logged in would see his/her latest tweet. So, lets say we wanted to add their tweet to the main page for some reason, we could do that.

Hmm. Seems to break all avatars, darn it. They work fine on the profile page, but I tweaked BB to show them on all pages.

It's not an 'error' but it seems to have issues.

In IE, the
http://twitter.com/javascripts/blogger.js
will produce a runtime error and the stream will not be displayed in posts.

you can't use this with monsterID avatars as it breaks them and turns them all into the default gravatar icon.

I see there's some talk about conflicts with avatar plugins. I'm using Avatar Upload. Could that be causing the tweets not to show on my profile?

Hrm. It was working for me, but now it's not. Same problem as JimmyVT. I just tried upgrading from 0.2 to 0.3, but it still won't work. Perhaps it's conflicting with another plugin? Hrm.

@JimmyVT; I've just uploaded version 0.3, with a new function. I've also tested it on 0.9.0.2 and the latest trunk of 1.0alpha (rev 1805), and it works just fine.

Does your server logs give you any error messages?

I cannot get it working either, I noticed it says compatible with 1.0-dev, I am using 1.0-alpha -- same thing??

Although I was on 0.9 and it never worked either. It shows up in the profile edit, but does not show up when you view my profile. Here's my profile:

The Twitter field shows up in my profile edit but the twittering doesn't appear on my profile. Is there a step I'm missing to make it echo?

The avatars did not show if bb-avatars was not used. This is now fixed.

The new version (0.2) has been uploaded, so it should show up in a while.
