Ajax Quote should be showing 1.0, I'll have to investigate.
update: the problem is "ajax quote" has a name conflict with Michael Nolan's quote plugin because it uses the same filename. I'm not sure how to solve that unfortunately.

This plugin currently only shows if there is a version number difference between your installed plugin and the what's in the trunk of the svn. It's just to help you keep track.

Because there is no standard and there is a wide range of ways that plugin authors use for their version numbers, it would be difficult to tell if a version is truly newer, though I may attempt to accomplish that at some future point.

csseur3 sometimes there is a delay in the updates here, please try the latest from the svn
http://plugins-svn.bbpress.org/check-for-updates/trunk/check-for-updates-admin.php?0.0.2a
if it doesnt work, let me know which version of php you have and if it's in safe mode?

thierryyyyyy thanks for the ideas, I have to add some improvements, right now the version is not calculated only if it's different, I have to come up with a more sophisticated way of calculating - ie. 0.2 vs 0.0.2

again thank you _CK_ for your plugin :)
I'm using 5 of your plugins, I'm thinking about a donation :)

I just would like to propose to give a third color for "too much updated" plugins.
For example, the "check for update" plugin itself appears in red, but the local version (0.0.2) is newer than the "newest" (or remote) (0.0.1) version. It would make more sense in yellow or any other color.
(and I have one or 2 more example)

A big improvement could also be to sort plugins by "outdated , too much updated, up to date, unknown status"
But the "active/inactive" is already a good idea, so thank you
