I have the latest version of the stand-alone BBPRESS (1.1) and the updated 1.2.0 version of BB Wysiwig Editor. Although the editor shows up under posts, there is no "Post" button below the editor to allow visitors to actually post their comments. Any suggestions? I've tried deactivating all other plugins, but it still doesn't work...

@ ajz, first of all I suggest you download the official jwysywyg from GitHub after installing this plugin and overwrite the folder with the latest version, so you get a more stable & cool box. Second, tweak the configuration js file with the parameters you like as explained in the official page. Finally, I think the width of the box inherits the default one of your theme. So you need to tweak your BBpress theme. :)

Nice plugin, but I've got some problems:

The editor puts random "
" in some posts, breaking lines well before my post area finishes, and it doesn't look well with the theme

It doesn't support keyboard shortcuts

Would it be possible to hide the borders of the buttons? Like this...

The problem is the plugin assumes your plugin folder is /my-plugins when the default installation creates a /bb-plugins folder.

If you are using /my-plugins, it will work fine. If you are using /bb-plugins, edit /bb-plugins/bb-wysiwyg-editor/bb-wysiwyg-editor.php.

Search for '/my-plugins' and replace with '/bb-plugins'. Double check to make sure it conforms to your directory structure and it should show up.

Quoting doesn't work for me. It just sends me to the reply box. I'm using the latest stable build of firefox.

Also, it says "QUOTA" instead of "QUOTE".

Update: I got the quote function to work. I added the buttons add-on and it gave me the two editors and then I deactivated the buttons add-on and yours started working. Only problem is, when you quote it puts your text inside the blockquote. You can break out of it by clicking the "Outdent" button but your cursor placement needs to occur after the not before.

And fix that typo! :)
