Great plugin! Everything is working great, but I'm wondering if there's a way to allow non-forum members to vote in a poll (ie: registering / login not necessary)?

This would allow more vistors to vote, but they would need to register / login to comment...

GregAl, I've hacked up the bbPress Polls plugin to do just that. It's ugly, codewise, but it works for my purposes.

Drop me an email using cliff at cliff1976 dot com if you like and I'll respond with my hacked-up version of this plugin.

Hi. This is a great plug-in, exactly what I needed. One question, is it possible to add code to have the poll results show who voted for what? I need something like that to track my users' votes.

I sugest a small corect in plugin code, it could be used for people who want to translate polls:

In line 165 and 200
$output='<div class="poll_question">'.__('poll').'...
Word 'pool' could be added to dictionary in administration.

Sorry for bumping this. But this plugin was added recently on the forum I moderate and I along with the other moderators are curious if there is a way to add an edit/delete function to the poll. Because without one the only way to do so is to delete the thread.

Marius-: Unfortuantely, _ck_ is not around anymore. This plugin will not be improved anymore. Watch out for v1.1 of bbPress - it may include this functionality.

Hi _CK_ great stuff. I was wondering how I can separate topics with polls from topics without polls in my code, so that I can have two separate panels in my layout. The [poll] part was what I wanted to use, but it does not show up when I use get_topic_title(). Any Ideas?

Hi CK, I am aware that you are not updating any plugins for a while which is fine by me... you probably need a break! So seeing as you wont make any edits can you tell me what this means...

I would love to keep using your Poll plugin as my users love it and yes I am using the updated version of BBPress and it is too alte to go back as I have made a lot of changes.

I just downloaded 1.0 stable and set it up on my test box and this plugin seems like it's working with one exception: starting a new topic and adding a poll to it right at the beginning doesn't seem to work - there's no "Save" button to save the poll into the topic and saving the topic doesn't save the poll along with it.

But adding poll to a new topic after-the-fact seems to work like a champ so far.

if i try to edit poll with cyrillic characters, bbpress saves it in wrong codepage

What you are talking about is a "survey" vs. a poll.
