I have now rolled back to pre-1.0 to get this plug-in back. Of course all the users want all the features we briefly had back. Sigh. Really beginning to regret the choice of BBPress there seems to be so few users and developers now that almost everything is abandonware.

I would really love to get a copy of the corrected .php file that works with 1.o if anyone has it handy. I may have to revert back to pre-1.0 if I cannot get anonymous posting working again.

Is this plugin entirely broken due to the bbshowcase link not working? I'm having all kinds of problems getting it to work but I only got access to the version at the top of the page :P I manually activated the anonymous user but when attempting to post I'm only redirected to the front page. Any help?

http://bbshowcase.org/plugins/bb-anonymous-posting_ck_mod.zip has some issues with the bb-seo-tools plugins.

If you want it to work, you must modify the bb-seo-tools by adding

if (is_array($arr))

in front of

if (array_key_exists($val, $arr))

I found a post at http://bbpress.org/forums/topic/integrate-wp27-and-bbp10a2#post-21225 and pasted the suggested code in to my capabilities.php in wp-includes as instructed, and all is well. Thanks johnjamesjacoby.

Anyone? I know it's a rather vague question :-), but any input on where to start looking would be much valued ...

I've tried clearing all traces of the plugin from the DB (the options) and server, and then reinstalled it, but with no luck so far.

Besides from this, the integrated installation is working fine, and I had hoped to get this fixed as well before releasing the site.

I'm trying to use this on an integrated wp2.7.1 + BB 1.0-Alpha-6 intallation, but the textedit area for anonymous users doesn't show up for post or new topics. Any ideas what that could be?

I'am runnig bbppres 0.9.0.4 . My site isn't live and i'm testing the plugin. When the Post Meta plugin is active, even whit all other plugins inactive, return an error message from topic in database, Table doesn't exist. I create myself the bb-postmeta table in database with php myadmin, and then, in bbpress plugins administration panel says that the PostMeta plugin is non active because they had a "fatal error". There are a conflict, y think, between de PostMeta plugin & the anonymous plugin, because when PostMeta is activ, anonymous not runs. I desactivate the anonymous plugin, and the conflict continue. I try to execute the postmeta.php and returns an error in line 34

apparently 1.0a6 broke some things compared to the previous 1.0a5 version

sorry to say this but it's not a priority for me to fix for the alpha, it's going to break with every change they make which means wasting an hour to track this down is pointless

I'll try to make it work with 1.0a6 at some point but if you haven't seen my announcement in the main forum, all my plugin updates for 1.0a7 are suspended indefinitely until 1.0 beta
