Will this page also be released as a plugin so we can add this page to our own bbrpess and post our own plugins/downloads?
I for 1 would really have this page so I can let people download my plugins from my bbpress site.

The goal is to release the plugin page again maybe as early as next week. It will allow people to upload their plugins to the main depository. All stats will be kept on the plugin including downloads. The process will be creating an account on the plugins page, submitting your plugin for authorization and then an admin will OK the plugin and create your login for you.
The other goal will be to have a WP widget to show the link, stats and info on a plugin on our own sites. Pretty neat stuff! I would imagine the same could happen for bbPress forums!
It will make more sense when it is open I guess!

Probably not. There's a lot of custom code talking to two different servers via http, cron jobs, svn actions and a dozen other things.
It's not terribly well abstracted for use on arbitrary sites. To be honest, it's a little spaghetti :)
My plan was for bbpress.org/plugins to be open by this past Friday. It will open tomorrow (Monday Jan 8th).
Can someone make it as a plugin then :)
Or some page we can put on our site, but that pulls al the plugins from this site for display?

There might be a way, I'm just not sure off hand which way would be the "best" though.. Maybe one of the devs, or someone else could help you better. ;) :) Either way, good luck with this! ;) :)

I understood that, was aiming to some pluginmaster that want to created something like this :)
Well it aint that important, it would be just handy. Even more if all the info could be pulled (with some filters) so the plugins would stay at 1 central point (this site) and updated to. So no different plugin versions on every site....
