What should I do if my topic will close without any reason?

    Hello, bbPress Mods,
    I'm really confused that what I did wrong that you've closed my topic about Super cache. I think I just ask a question, I've searched about this issue over internet but I didn't find any solution yet that's why I've asked about it in bbpress ( believe me Kev, Just my name is Pagal, But I'm really not). I also searched about it in bbPress forums but did not find any authentic answer. I don't know why people forcing me to search bbPress solutions from GOOGLE and trying to bug me off from this Support. :-(

    I make you sure that I'll not give any wrong reply to my "beloved" Kev about his sweet painful words. Its just a request to open my topic again.

    You are really into bbPress, and thats great :)
    People here, including myself, like helping you and others :)
    The way I look at it is this: every time someone asks a question and people take the time to answer, it means more people who have that question will be able to find the answer without having to ask.

    The difference is..

    You don't check first:

    Because it saves us from having to type the same answers over and over.
    None of us are paid here, we're all just trying to help. The more time we spend typing the same answers to the same question because someone can't use google, the less time we have for new questions.

    Your last question, was very very easy to find the answer for.
    It had it's own tag (which YOU typed in), which lead you right to the answer.
    The answer was the top search result in google.
    The answer was linked to 5 times on searching on this forum.

    Its just a request to open my topic again.

    I'm guessing it was closed because the question was answered :)
    You asked a question, you got an answer that worked :)

    I closed the topic because it was answered, and I didn't want it to devolve into a discussion between pagal and kevinjohn. The issue was resolved.

    If you haven't already done so, please send me an email at chrishajer [at] gmail [dot] com so I have your email address to discuss this further, if you like. I am going to close this topic as well.

    I guess to answer the question of "what should I do if my topic is closed" - you should just contact me probably since I am the one who closed it. You should contact a keymaster or admin of this forum if you are unhappy with the way the moderation is being handled.
