What does the user see when Askimet catches spam?

I’m wondering what error message a user will see when Askimet catches forum spam? And is there a spam folder somewhere where an admin can see forum posts marked spam?

I ask because I’m having forum users occasionally get a “Error: Your topic cannot be created at this time” notice. One user had two accounts and I think her issue was with her browser cache. But that doesn’t seem to be the problem with the second user.

Or is this likely NOT an askimet issue at all?

Suspect it’s not an Askimet issue.

Might be that you were doing something to the site at the time, loads of potential issues with what your user was doing at the time, including the one you mention.

I guess it might be a problem of Akismet or something similar.

I just run into the completely same issue as Josh mentions. I tried to add some topics and all I get was “your topic cannot be created at this time”. I found out that when I deleted a part of a text I was able to create new topic. Narrowing it down lead to problem with one single word: “socialistická” (“socialistic” in English).

When this word wasnt in text, everything was OK. When it was there error “your topic cannot be created at this time” occured.

Anybody has any news about this or how to get rid of this problem? Weird is that even disabling Akismet in forum settings doesnt help 🙁

I disabled Askimet in the forums and W3 Cache entirely and no one has reported the problem since. I suspect the problem for me was W3 Cache.

I use Hyper cache, well I’ll try what you suggest, hope it’ll work.

But anyway it is a really weird problem that should be repaired.

Tried to disable hypercache and akismet in bbpress settings but it doesn’t help 🙁
