upgraded to new version; now can't log in

Hi -
I just upgraded to the new version. I think I followed the instructions. I logged out, and tried to log back in. It said my DB needed to be rebuilt, and did so (said it was successful). But now, I can't log in. No error message, it just acts like I didn't do anything.
Help?

Another update: this problem persists in Firefox, but not in Safari (on a Mac). -

Ah sometimes Firefox corrupts my cookies, and then signins don't work in that particular browser.
Try clearing your cookies?
