"There was a problem connecting to the database you specified."

   I'm very new to this, I installed WordPress a few days ago and now I'd like to install bbPress. The installation of WordPress went great, but when I try to install bbPress, I get the "There was a problem connecting to the database you specified."-error. So there must be something wrong with the data I filled in, what did I do wrong?

   Database name: b4_4599254_forum
   Database user: b4_4599254
   Database host: http://ftp.byethost4.com

   That database host name does not look correct. That might be the web host name (a FTP server over HTTP?) but I would guess the database host name is actually something different, maybe some variation of that.

   If bbPress can't connect to the database, there's usually a simple error in the connection details. There's not much more to it than that.
