Slow to post a response in a thread

   I'm running bbPress 1.0.2 and everything is working fine, but responding to an existing thread (posting a response to it) is verrrry slow to post, and sometimes even times out with an error. But the response always gets posted, even if the site times out.

   Weirdly, starting a new thread is very fast.

   Any idea what could be causing it?

   Have I gone insane, or did starting this thread just redirect me to a 404?

   Maybe there are some mis-configuration of your server, or with your connection.
