Search... uh, where is it?

   I hope that I'm just overlooking this, but I can't seem to figure out how to let a user search the forums. The post types are set to exclude_from_search = true, and turning that off kind of works, but not really. What I get is a list of search results that use my page.php template, rather than the search.php template and thus outputs the entire topic including the reply form.

   Ugh.

   Furthermore, using "&post_type=topic" just returns the topic archive page, a list of all topics, not ones that contain the search string.

   Search seems like a pretty "duh" feature, so what gives?

   Yeah, doesn't quite do what I need, although it helped me figure out how to undo exclude_from_search.
