Restricting Access To Certain Role

   Hello. Great software, love to all involved. But I have a query.

   I need to restrict access to a certain forum to a certain role of user. So essentially, only mods can see and use this forum. I know there is a plugin to do this on a user by user basis, but because of the amount of users involved and convience I need to do it en masse.

   Any advice greatfully recieved, including that which basically tells me what I would need to hack about the existing plugin (or anything) to get this to work.
