Remove Topic in URL

   Is it possible to remove "topic" in the URL.

   I have now http://www.site.com/forum/topic/example, so is is possible to get:

   http://www.site.com/forum//example

   Just like in wordpress, i can remove the "category" slug.

   I can't get it to work properly with bbPress 1.01 though.
