Recomended Hosting?

   Hey, What is a good web hosting company to use?

   I want to avoid any SMTP authentication issues.
   I need cheep
   Hopefully and proven history of handling Traffic Bursts (ie. Digg)

   I have no specific recommendations, but so long as the host supports the minimum requirements, just ask about SMTP auth and then shop by price.

   Everyone will be recommending their hosting - for example, I'm happy with WHB on which I'm running three WP and one bbPress, not mentioning a MediaWiki script.

   I'm actually using a FREE web host that offers everything a paid host would, even has cPanel 11. The ONLY drawback is they offer only 100mb storage space. I don't want to give them a "plug" because when I asked for more storage, they declined, telling me I will never use 100mb with WP or bbP, I don't know if that's true or not. Do look around though for FREE hosts if you want to save a few nickels.
