Private forum for Author Role?

   Hello

   I've read a few posts about requests for a private forum etc.

   Just wanted to clarify whether at the moment it is possible in terms of access for certain WP users. That is, if someone has Role of Author, only they would be able to View & Post?

   I don't think WP user roles can be used in bbPress yet. In bbPress, you are either a user, a bozo or not registered. WordPress obviously has more roles. Unless I am missing something, that is where we are until someone writes a plugin or they change the bbPress core.
