   Is it possible to make a forum admin-posts only for, for example, system announcements for a website?

   There are certain plugins like the group forum plugin and the hidden forums plugin that enable this functionality.

   Announcements would be READ ONLY forums, not Hidden Forums.

   You can also just post a topic and close it so regular users can't reply.
