plugins & folder permissions

   i'm having some issues with some of my plugins not working, i think it might have to do with folder permissions.
   my-plugins/my-templates folder are set to 750, whereas all the other folders are set to 705.

   any thoughts/opinions?

   thanks in advance. hosting is at godaddy.

   Yah it's a bug with 1.0... chrishajer reported it to trac recently:
   http://trac.bbpress.org/ticket/1139

   You can manually change the permissions for now... and hopefully it will be fixed in future releases!

   great, thanks. would this then pose any security issues, as sambauers stated? i do not know much about permissions.

   Are you on a shared host or dedicated server?

   shared unfortunately. if so, is there a different permission that would be better?
