No Dashboard

   I just installed bbpress, it seemed to go fine. I made my first user admin, logged in, reset the password, then clicked on "Admin." I don't get a dashboard. It just stays stuck on the first page of the forum. Same thing happens if I type in the url: http://www.mydomain.com/forum/bb-admin/index.php. The url reverts back to http://www.mydomain.com/forum/

   I searched here on "no dashboard" and threads came up, but they didn't seem to describe what I'm experiencing.

   Log out.
   Dump your cache.
   Flush all your cookies.
   Log in again.
