Hello again everybody,
I apologize if I posted something against the rules? My last post was closed?
Well it was about getting support installing bbpress. I have done web design in the past but never integrated a forum. I would really like to add a bbpress forum to my site.
my problem is in the database configuration settings. I uploaded to my server fine but when asked for my database configuration settings I keep getting a message saying the info I put is incorrect. I says
""There was a problem connecting to the database you specified.
Please check the settings, then try again."This is the information I have to work with.
» MySQL Database
a7609595_teammix» MySQL User
a7609595_jasonb» MySQL Host
mysql8.000webhost.comAny help would be great. Thank you everybody.
Also, I heard from somebody that I have to create a table on my database for this to work? I did not see that in the bbpress directions, is this correct?

You might need to click the "show advanced settings" checkbox there. When you do that, you will have a place to enter your database host (mysql8.000webhost.com). You don't need to do anything other than make sure that database exists. No need to create tables; the installer does that for you. I think that's probably the only problem, assuming the password is correct.
