Login/Logout Not Appearing on Pages

On my installation logout does not appear when the user is logged in (http://www.fallforthebook.org/bbpress). When the user isn't logged in, login appears but only when they try to reply to a topic. Did I break something in the installation or is there a way to make logout/login appear on every page? (a plugin, maybe?). Thanks!

I also just noticed that when you click login, there is no link to Register and the only way to get to the Register form is the try to login with a random user name/password.

Does this happen with the default theme? Maybe something was left out of this theme?

You're right - I think when I hid the top header it also removed the Login/Logout buttons. Do you know what code in the PHP file controls these buttons? I know I didn't delete any of the PHP code, I just applied display:none to the CSS file.
