Is bbpress licenced?

   Hi guys,I've been thinking to build a commercial website with bbpress, is bbpress licensed? if bbpress's code is licensed, how about plugin that I wrote,do I have to share it as well? pls advise, thanks

   bbPress is licenced under a GPL licence.

   There is no licence that can force you to share any plugins or themes that you write. If you write it and want to keep it for yourself thats not against the bbPress licence.

   I wrote a plugin that is pretty big,I am building a application on top of bbpress, so it's okay to use it as commercial purpose right?

   You should read http://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.html or contact your attorney if you are building a pretty big plugin, an application on top of bbPress and for commercial purposes. No one here can give you legal advice, and software licenses are legal issues.
