How to create easy comment posting?

   Does anyone know how I can implement the functionality found on StreetEasy.com where they allow you to comment on a thread, but if you're not logged in ... after you click "submit" it then asks you to either register or login for your comment to be posted.

   Here's an example:

   http://www.streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/discussion/14817-installing-a-half-bath-in-place-of-a-kitchen

   Go down to the bottom of the page and type in a new comment. Then click submit.

   I really like this type of functionality because it really promotes more interaction on the forum

   Best of luck to you if you manage to get something like that working, I found it a royal pain to bypass the various checks that non-fully registered users can't pass.
