I create a Reply to a topic all fine
Then tried to edit my Reply and got a blank page
Turn on WP_DEBUG and got the following errors
Notice: Undefined property: stylePress::$types in /wp-content/plugins/style-press/style-press.php on line 79

Notice: Use of undefined constant get_post_types – assumed ‘get_post_types’ in /wp-content/plugins/style-press/style-press.php on line 80

Running Wp 3.8.1 and BBpress 2.5.3

Is this a new installation, or has this just started on an old one.

Try disabling all other plugins, and seeing if that fixes it. If so then re-add back one at a time to see which is causing.

If none, the switch to a default theme such as twentytwelve and see if it still occurs

Come back and let us know the results

Not a total new install but a new install of BBPress and we do have wishlist.
Also the page is not totally blank it still has the banner and footer but no menu or content generated. No side bar widgets.
I tried to deactivate the plugin without success.
Changing to the default template did work so its the AIR theme from Yootheme

So what next – look for something in the theme that could be causing it

Did you disable the stylepress plugin, as it seems to be pointing to that?

This plugin is no longer maintained viz

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/style-press/

I’d also post a query on the yootheme suppprt site, as they may have come across this

Disabling the stylepress plugin remove the errors that I was getting above but didn’t change the result. I’m now don’t get any debug error messages and just a blank area for the content area.

ok, then as before I’d suggest you go to yoothemes for support.

It may be as simple as changing the page template that bbpress is using

    https://codex.bbpress.org/step-by-step-guide-to-setting-up-a-bbpress-forum/ section 8

I have had problems with yootheme on a project but have overcome them by simply ‘overriding’ ALL of the plugin files by copying them into the theme directory – not the directory for the ‘style’ as the warp framework calls it but the theme root directory. It seems you have to provide an override for every file to get all the different views working.

Just follow the process laid out in the codex:

    https://codex.bbpress.org/theme-compatibility/

And remember to override ALL the files!
