Downloading "Kakumei"

    Is there a way to download the stock theme "Kakumei" or is it part of the bbPress download? I want a copy of it to try out changes without disturbing the original. Thanks.

    It's part of the download. You can just make a copy of all the files and rename it to something else.

    Or, just grab all the files here for 1.0.2:

    Thanks. I will make a copy and re-name it. Wish I could download it in zip format somewhere.

    When I download a copy of Kakumei I get a copy of it with the exact description as the original in my admin appearance area. How do I know which one is the copy and which the original? Where can I change the original description?

    Edit the style.css file in the copy, that's where all the name/description data is stored :)

    The name of the theme is at the top of style.css - you can change it to something memorable there.

    Theme Name: InvTrdr Custom Theme

    You can change other lines in that theme header if you want, but this one is the major one.

    You can also replace screenshot.png in your theme folder with something that will visually identify the theme for you when you're working in the admin.
