Country display

   Does any one know of any useful plugins that I could use to enable the posters location (city and country) to be displayed on my forum. I would like the posters location (city and country) to be displayed whenever they post something on to my forum so that the readers can see what part of the world they are posting from. I think it helps with perspective. Thanks for your help.

   There is no plugin, but check the free geoip script from maxmind, I'm sure you can use that script to create your own function

   _ck_ was talking about something she had done with GeoIP and flags at one point:

   What I meant was the country display would be visible to the ALL viewers reading the forum - the location of the country would appear beside the posters post - possibly under his/her gravatar or under the post text he/she has just posted.
