Certain users have comma before their role - affecting permissions

  1. Well, the title pretty much sums it up.

    I have no idea how this happened, or how to fix it. I have about 6 users who show a comma in front of their role in the admin section, as if there is an invisible role in front of the one they should have, and these users' permissions are not working.

    Example: , Member

    Any clue? Just lost on this one. Thanks!

  2. I wonder how did that happen.
    Try this ->
    Open users for edit and then on the edit profile page, reselect usertype as Member and save

  3. Thanks, but still there I'm afraid. :/

  4. follow this tutorial - http://blog.ashfame.com/2009/09/fix-lost-admin-access-bbpress/
    just use a:1:{s:6:"member";b:1;} instead of a:1:{s:9:"keymaster";b:1;}

  5. That is because of the throttle permission, and it has no name. Check - http://trac.bbpress.org/ticket/1202#comment:3

  6. thanks for the link. I've put it off, cause I'm just not sure what to do with it, exactly. Use the last link (better and combined) to replace the existing files completely?
