Cant install "The plugin does not have a valid header." error

   Every time I try to install this I click "activate plugin" and I'm sent to a page that just says "The plugin does not have a valid header." and wont let me install.... I downloading the plugin from this site and tried uploading the zip and the uncompressed in my plugin folder. Any ideas?

   trying to install and activate the plugin right now and found exactly the same error. I have also downloaded the file from this site. Please, help. Thanks

   bbPress isn't a WordPress plugin. It's a standalone software.

   bbPress has been a stand alone forum, albeit based on some core WordPress components. But is not a plugin for WordPress.

   bbPress as a plugin is currently being developed.

   Actually, I installed the bbPress plugin directly from the WP Admin add new plugin front end and I get invalid header as well.
