Can’t get past first step!

Every username I try at the first step tells me that there’s no user found.

If I leave it blank (like it says to do for new users) it still says no user found!

    Any ideas?

Presumably the database settings are correct, because you got that far.

I also presume that you are referring to the initial (keymaster) user account when you are talking about “username”.

Do you get the “no user found” message when you first try to login?

Did you use the password it gives you to use at the end of the install process?

Hi Sam, I’m actually not getting past install, it’s where I choose my initial (keymaster) login that I’m getting the error.

Even if I leave it blank (like it says to if I’m a new user) it still tells me that theres “no user found”.

Incidentally if I leave every field blank it still gives me the same error.

Are you trying to integrate with a WordPress install?

Yep I am, but I’m only really trying to install at the moment, and integrate (with the plugin) after. I did set the correct prefix (wp_) in the config.php if that’s what you’re wondering.

Do you have a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Hi I seem to be having a similar problem. No matter what I enter into the field, this is the message I get:

Username not found. Go back and try again.

FYI this the phase of installation I’m at:

    First Step

Make sure you have everything (database information, email address, etc.) entered correctly in config.php before running this script…
