Broken integration with wp 2.5?

    Hello there,

    i upgraded wp to version 2.5 succesfully.

    But now i have a small problem. It seems that bbpress and wp do not communicate anymore as before as if the integration is broken. I am not more logged in into bbpress if i am logged in into wp and vice versa. I did not try to create a new testing user to see if he/she will appear in wp and bbpress yet. Is anyone experiencing the same?

    Could this be a cookie issue with WP 2.5 (hashing method?)? The intergration between wp 2.3 and bbpress 0.8.3 worked smoothly until now.

    This method http://bbpress.org/blog/2006/09/simpler-integration-with-wordpress/ ceased to work for me since the wp upgrade. Will it be fixed with 0.9 version?

    .09 will fix integration issues with WP 2.5. Hopefully it will be released soonish.

    Thank you very much, i will wait for 0.9. Let's hope it is comming out soon!

    It seems that users cannot log in to the forum anymore using their passwords , including myself.

    Calling v 0.9, calling v 0.9, please show up!!

    I have xammp (installed on a USB key) and upgraded to WP 2.5 and since then the forum no longer works. Will test on localhost first before I go live I think :)

    You don't have to wait for 0.9 official release, the beta is very stable:

    Just make sure to update it to final when it's available.

    CK, I guess they released 0.9 stable just when I was working on the beta build. What do you recommend? Should I do a file refresh or stick with whatever I have? :)

    branches/0.8 is the same as the release version 0.9.0.1 at this stage.

    Thanks, Sam! Love the new version. I stopped using bbpress until yesterday when one of my clients needed a complicated setup. The new wp integration is so easy :)

    I guess I'll use this post.

    For some reason I can't see at the moment, comments made on bbpress don't show up in their respective posts in wordpress, but the comment count does reflect them. I tried deactivating all my plugins and changing the template just in case, but the problem persists.

    I'm using bbpress 0.9 and WordPress 2.5. Ideas?

    EDIT: Ah, it's worse than that. No comments appear at all in WordPress in posts shared between forum and blog, but they appear correctly in bbpress. Older posts not in bbpress are not affected. Sigh, my head hurts. Sleeping may be a good idea.

    The functionality you describe is not available in bbPress/WordPress without plugins. You probably need to report this problem to the plugin author (I'm guessing bbSync).
