Best hosting for WP + BBpress community

   Hi all,

   I am currently building a closed community which will potentially get quite large (business portal kind of thing). I already have shared hosting with 123-reg.co.uk however the load times on the WP blog are a bit slow and can vary due to shared bandwidth so I'm looking to upgrade and am looking for some advice on the server specs I need to look for!

   I'm currently looking at possibly of upgrading to the 123-reg.co.uk dedicated server (Ghz 2.13 Quad core, 2gb ram 320Hd and 10mb bandwidth (unlimited/ monitored traffic).

   Does this sound like it has enough power to cope with an expanding community or will I need something with a bit more bit?

   Any feedback would be much appreciated.

   Go with Linode.com and scale as per needs

   It really depends on what traffic you think you'll get. How many in your closed community?

   If your community is growing, then you might want to consider a VPS (Virtual Private Server).
