    Hello,

i have had a wordpress website designed for me which included bbpress, i have some knowledge of wordpress but im not a pro at it.

I have added a couple of widgets to the bbpress sidebar and they are displaying at the bottom of the page. is there a way to adjust the margins and width of the forum itself without changing the website widths???

i have left it at the bottom let me know what you can do to help.

The page you are using to display is a full width page.

Since you are using a child theme of twenty twelve, I presume you still have the default template which has a sidebar.

If so, then copy this file, and rename it to bbpress.php and put it into your theme’s root ie
    wp-content/themes/twentytwelve-Child/bbpress.php

That will ensure that bbPress uses a template with a sidebar

No problem. Just a quick thought, as I might be able to solve it a different way.

Are you using a page called forums and the shortcode [bbp-forum-index]

or did it just come sup in your menu when you installed it?

It’s Ok, neither is wrong, I just need to know which !

    Hello,

I am using a page called forums and the shortcode [bbp-forum-index] but the sidebars do not appearance.

I have located the page_sidebar.php and copy in the theme directory as bbpress.php.
