Hi,
I discovered that bbpress.png located in the bb-images directory was corrupted somehow on the fresh archive I downloaded from here.
Eventhough it was present on the directory, it would refuse to show up on the various webpages. Even a direct link would cause a 404 error (!?).
I downloaded it from http://bbpress.org/bbpress.png and got it to work this time.
