If permalinks are not working, then your server does not support &#60;code&#62;Options +MultiViews&#60;/code&#62; and you need the longer explicit rewrite rules as generated by &#60;code&#62;bb-admin/rewrite-rules.php&#60;/code&#62;.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I think accessing &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.website.com/bbpress/bb-admin/rewrite-rules.php&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://www.website.com/bbpress/bb-admin/rewrite-rules.php&#60;/a&#62; will create the .htaccess rewrite rules.  If you made other modifications to the .htaccess and deleted the file, it's just like any other file you delete; it's gone.  You would need to recreate it by hand.
