Have you tried with permalinks set to none? Sounds like those mod_rewrite rules are not working on your server. Change permalinks to none and then see if your forum works. If it does, then you just need to get permalinks working.

sorry it is on my local test machine. furthermore, it happens when you try to delete the tag from one topic, you must be a admin user.

The only thing special is that my bbpress is integrated with my wpmu, I logged in using my wpmu admin account (mapped to bbpress admin group already), when I try to delete the tag from one topic, the error occurs, but it is ok when I manage the tags on bbpress backend, I can delete any tag there.

I think you want to move (or remove) this piece of code in topic.php of your template file:

<?php topic_tags(); ?>

Removing that removes the tags for a topic. Then, just put it where you want it to get the tags back.

Is the tag count adjusted? If you have less active tags than tags shown in the hot tags list, tags with 0 topics will be shown. (Not that it isn't a bug.)

Yeah. You need to have quotation marks around any font names containing spaces.
(edited)
That would be
font-family: "Anything but Comic Sans MS for the love of god";

Note you can also get a whole bunch of font declarations into one statement: http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_font_font.asp

Quick question, how do i change the font of the hot tags list on my front page. I'm using one font for my whole page at the moment but want to add a second font just for the hot tag list.

How would i go about doing this ?

I tried adding a font under

.frontpageheatmap

and under
#front-page #hottags

on my style sheet but this made no difference.

Anyone know where i should try ?

Nevermind. I created a plugin that I can modify anytime I want. Here's the code if you're interested. You don't even need the add image plugin.

<?php
/*
Plugin name: Extra html tags
plugin author: Sue
plugin description: Allow extra html tags, even depreciated
*/

function allow_extra_tags( $tags )
{
    $tags['a'] = array(
        'href' => array(),
        'title' => array(),
        'rel' => array(),

        'alt' => array()
    );
    $tags['i'] = array();

I was wondering if there's a plugin already out there for font size and font color. They should enable the font tag or style=""; in the tags. Also, why can't we use heading tags such as
<h1>
or choose an image width and height in our image tags?

I managed to write the plugin myself (on top of WP) and had to make several more changes too

Please do use http://www.namastenetizen.com/collatodo/ and provide feedback

mmm... I was hoping that there is 1 ( central ) filter *after reading tables* which could be implemented..

Of course, people can do what they want, but I don't think this is an appropriate use of tags. Some plugin that added a text input field to the posting form and used the topic meta table to store the option would be better.

That's an intruiging concept, I like it. It's not an easy endeavour because you have to remove topics from the listings, counts and RSS (and not only stop users actually looking inside the topic). The Private Forums plugin has to do that too, so perhaps that's a good starting point.

Please provide some clues (best existing plugin for starting point) to develop a plugin that will display posts/comments to users _only_ if
1) they created the topic or
2) a tag in the topic is for:user_name

ps: of course, "for:" can be anything (using the same concept as in del.icio.us)
