I have a private site, i.e. registration required to see anything. Installed the plugin. Forums and topics are created. I want a notification to automatically go out to all registered users (i.e our 'members') each time a new forum or new topic is created. I want to preclude their having to get online and poke around to see what is new but rather to push it out to them.

Ideally they would be notified of every new posting both out of the bbpress activity and from a WP Post or Page creation.

Suggestions on where to go for this?

Any forum or topic marked as a favorite or for RSS gets an email, even if the user doesn't follow through with the RSS part.

I can't get @thomasklaiber 's email notification plugin to work, and judging by the threads, the best bet is 'subscribe by email'. That one shows above threads, but does nothing once selected.

Surely there is a way to follow topics by email. This has been asked for at least 4 years... is it just my theme?

Yes this is ok, but i need some thing more : the email notification is avalaible only for registred membre, not for anonymous posting ... so how can us get this option work for guest posting ?

We really need people to be able to post without creating a account. Also email notifications are pretty essential.
