The blockquotes are there in the source, but there is no corresponding CSS. This was brought up before here, but not addressed. If you are working on your own theme, just define blockquote in the style.css however you like, for example:

blockquote {
padding: 0 0 0 20px;
background-color: red;
}

Well, now I've gone and done it. I installed bbpress 0.9 first then installed WordPress mu 2.6.3. I then tried to turn on integration, and now my bbpress installation is completely broken. I cannot login as I get the error:

bbPress database error: [Table 'web_forums.wp_users' doesn't exist]
SELECT ID FROM wp_users WHERE user_login = 'admin'

bbPress database error: [Table 'web_forums.wp_users' doesn't exist]
SELECT * FROM wp_users WHERE user_login = 'admin'

My databases for WP and BBP are separated. Is there a way to reverse the integration? I cannot drop the database as there are existing users and posts.

I only realised this would be a problem after the fact, when I came here searching for a solution. If anyone is able to help me I'd greatly appreciate it. I've searched the forum posts extensively and looked through the bbpress configuration file to no avail. I hope someone can assist as I am at a loss on how to fix this.

Tested and experiencing the bug with no plugins on both WP 2.2.1 and WPMU 1.2.3. Only happens if wp-blog-header.php is inlcuded in the config.php for bbPress.

Might it be some server setting?

Currently experiencing on three different machines, very similar setups though. I will test this on a different machine/setup tonight.

I have confirmed this issue with a squeaky clean install of wpmu 1.2.3 + bbPress 0.8.2.1. All attributes are stripped from html elements included in a post. Now installing and testing with plain old WP 2.2.1, will report back shortly.

I no longer have element attributes such as href, title, rel, or cite for content posted by users. For example:

This is a <a href="http://www.link.com" title="a link">Link</a>

becomes:

<a>Link</a>

i figured this was something in bb-includes/formatting functions, but everything looks right to me:

function bb_allowed_tags() {
	$tags = array(
 'a' => array(
 'href' => array(),
 'title' => array(),
 'rel' => array()),
 'blockquote' => array('cite' => array()),
 'br' => array(),
 'code' => array(),
 'pre' => array(),
 'em' => array(),
 'strong' => array(),
 'ul' => array(),
 'ol' => array(),
 'li' => array()
	);
	return apply_filters( 'bb_allowed_tags', $tags );
}

does anyone have any ideas?

Trent - I see you have fixed the problem. Thank you very much !

I will now go to build the forum, and will share with all of you once I made it work (and also, will share my Hebrew translation to the rest of the community)

Again, Trent, thank you very much :)

p.s: one small correction I made to the stylesheet, was to the header.
In the current configuration, The first letter of the name of the forums, is cut off.
So to fix it, I erased the line:
font-style: italic;
from the file style.css, in the "#header h1 { " section, as seen here:

In style.css:
#header h1 {
font-family: Georgia;
/*font-style: italic;*/ <-- this line
position: absolute;
display: block;
color: #444;
text-align: right;
letter-spacing: -1px;
right: 59px;
bottom: 31px;
}

I don't know how to incorporate it into the trunk or to post a ticket, but I hope what I write will help...

Another small issue (which matters little to me, but is worth noting) :
When the mouse hovers around a header of (for example a forum name): in Firefox, you get the whole line to change color(as it should). in IE you deon't get that effect.

Hi peoples.
I wish to install bbpress for the Hebrew language (which is right to left), for which I need a supporting style sheet (such as the style-rtl.css).

Unfortunately, style -rtl.css is broken (for IE):
http://trac.bbpress.org/ticket/612
(for a month, and much longer then that)

I tried, yet wasn't able to fix the css myself, and until the issue isn't resolved, I can not install bbpress (which I very much wish to do).

I know that once bbpress will work for the Hebrew language, many of the Hebrew wordpress community would love to use it, so the request is for more users then me.

Please Please Please, can someone fix it ?

Also in every member profile, it says bozo:"1" I tried to remove this or to replace it with "0" but it automatically overwrite to "1" and I have no idea if this is important or not.

I can as well send you you the ID and password I log in with via email so that some can have a look

In the admin panel, the only thing that will show for posts or topics are deleted ones. Posts and topics do not show there until they are deleted. If you want to see the posts or topics, I think the intention is that you would see them in the forum, and as admin, you can edit or delete them there.

I tried registering on the forum but I did not receive my confirmation email.

Nope: 10 minutes later, no email confirmation. Sorry, I can't log in without that.

OK the problem mentionned i my last reply persists.

- My last messages do not show up anywhere
- the new tag does not work and goes to a page inviting to write a post(?)
- In the dashboard, nothing is listed under post or topics

I tried to set the pretty URL as true or false, it does not solve the problem

I cannot find a similar problem in those forum, am I the only one with this case?

OK well I did a new install.
The link do work now but the other problem is that the last posts I made do not show up in the Latest Discussions section. There is a new tag 'trying' which does display along with the tag 'BBPress' but when clicking on it does not seems to find any posts.
http://forum.webscratches.com/
Oh and BTW, in the Dashboard, when going to Topics or Posts, nothing is listed there. I am correctly listed as a Moderator and I am not in the Bozos list

On a sidenote I had to set all files to 755 because I got a permission error (this is related to my hosting though I'm not sure it might have sth to do)
