If you've found a plugin that doesn't work, tell us how so that we can help fix it - for everyone. If you've found a bug or an error: TELL US so that we can help fix it for everyone.

But to find a plugin that does not work and say "its not working" and then "I did not mention the error here because I'm not interested in this plugin" is just selfish.

I did not mention the error here because I'm not interested in this plugin. and I don't want to fix it. i just install it and check it, then immediately delete it, because I've integrated my forums with wordpress so there is shared user integration, and there is built in functionality in wordpress to add users step by step, so why I install this buggy plugin? but chrishajer did not understand my question, I want to add bulk users at once.

The "ignore member" has an immediate appeal, especially with some prolific baiters, but since these baiters also add valuable content that others non ignored members respond to, the "ignore member" kind of fragmentises sensible threads. (Some baiters even had fun adding seemingly innocent URL's, that caused to have other members put on ignored inadvertently, NOT FUNNY!)

An "ignore thread" would probably be more useful for when a thread goes silly or off-topic, so you can ignore the annoying behavior rather than person.

It allows members to ignore posts by other members that they don't get along with but are still decent contributors to your forum so you don't want to ban them. If a topic has a last post from a member they ignore, they won't see it in the latest list until someone else replies (this is a good idea, trust me).

You can put a link on every post easily and then the user can ignore any member except the ones you specify ie. you, mods, in the future it will automatically build the list of mods for you in the admin panel (doesn't exist yet in this beta).

The user can also easily remove members from their list under their profile edit tab.

Still waiting for a svn placement but will post on my blog shortly.

The ability to ignore (hide) posts from another member that you don't get along with.

The question is, how do ignore filters deal with entire topics started by another member.

I hope the alpha trunk can deal with this ability since the $where filters are (mostly) removed.

now after installing this plugin it shows me this:

just wanted to see if this is the way it is supposed to work... or perhaps it should not be doing this.

Just noticed a problem... the users login name shows up next to what they are posting instead of the Display name or Nickname... is there a way to change their names to Display name or Nickname.

Future request: is there a way to tick mark a box that says Notify me of replies... that way authors don't have to log in to the forums to check for replies and can be notified of it by email.

Change this part from:

to get rid of the register, you could just comment out this line or change the wording:

Once you have edited that file, upload it to a new folder (if it doesn't exist already in root) /my-templates/ as bbPress will use that file first and if it doesn't exist, go back to the one in /bb-templates/

As for the registering with WordPress, I was only referring to the abilitity to turn on or off registration in WP admin. If you turn it off, then you can add the members you want through the admin.

That should get you going!

(2)When you mention "People can still register using WordPress" do you mean the authors or me (admin) has to do anything "beyond" what I do to register authors in the admin section of WordPress

Gurus... one request... how can I completely "Eliminate" anonymous user registration... the goal of my forum is for a private discussion of authors who write on the main blog to communicate with each other. Hence all users of the forum will be actually authors of the blog.
