I ran into the same problem, Alex. Never fixed it, but my workaround was to just put a single topic into each forum.
Okay. That does make some sense. I also really just wanted to get rid of the “ago” text. Found it in the core under /bbp-includes/bbp-common-functions.php
Pretty sure there’s a way around this without hacking the core code, but I have no idea. Suggestions welcome.
Hello! I am very new to filters. Anyway you could post some samples of bbp_user_register_redirect_to and reidrecting them to bbp_get_forums_url() ?
These links are five or so years old. Does anyone know how to do this in the current version of bbPress?

Got the same problem. I’m guessing we would have to use a conditional statement in the functions.php file, but I’m a little lost how to actually do that.
